Benjamin Salvatore (b. 1987, Germany) is a Cape Town-based artist working in a range of mediums, from painting, photography and sculpture to clothing, screenprinting and video. In each discipline, Salvatore is interested in limitations, restrictions, ruptures, misapprehensions, breakages and failures.
Salvatore’s work has been included in group exhibitions at the RMB Latitudes Art Fair (Johannesburg, South Africa), The FOURTH Gallery (Cape Town, South Africa) and Candice Berman Gallery (Johannesburg, South Africa). In 2020, Salvatore premiered his debut solo presentation, Everybody stand still, with Worldart Gallery (Cape Town, South Africa).
